It’s hard to believe that one of Mississippi’s most scenic areas is just a few miles from the state’s largest city. Officially named the Ross Barnett Reservoir, most people call it ‘The Reservoir’. This 33,000-acre body of water is more than just water. The Reservoir is a place where families live, vacation, work, and shop—and most importantly, it’s a place where people make lasting memories of sunny days water skiing, fishing, watching the sunset, or grilling hamburgers with their family on the backyard deck.
